Red Light Bulbs

Does anyone have a good source for the red xenon light bulbs? The white ones are readily available at hardware stores, but I can't find the red. I'm planning to try a marine supply place in Seattle when I'm there next week, but thought I'd ask here too.

Also, has anyone tried 20w bulbs? The CI manual list them as 10w, but 10w and 20w are sold. The 10s are fine in the cabin, but a few more lumens in the galley might be good at times.
 
How about nail polish? I remember as a kid my dad needed a red bulb....he. Grabbed a clear bulb and my moms nail polish....soon he had red bulbs. I remember it worked but I can't recall how well :)

I havnt needed new red bulbs yet...I would imagine I will soon though as I've popped a couple clear ones....
