Shredded/Broken Side Tent Top Pole

Ok so another lesson learned. While I had the side tent staked down the wind got pretty heavy last night and the tent came off the tent pegs and started moving around.

Before I get it taken down the roof fibreglass pole broke and shredded. Looks like it is a 7mm diameter. Other than the usual places like Amazon anyone have a suggestion on where to get a replacement?
 
Ok. Got it fixed. Stansport makes a Tent Pole Repair Kit Part #749. 7mm in diameter. About $7. Bought one at Sportsmans Warehouse. Actually with the four sections that come in the kit I now have two complete tent top sets. My broken one was the standard 25 1/2inch piece. The overall all setup is 2X 25.5 inch and one 18.5 inch piece.

With the remaining three 25.5 pieces I trimmed one using a Dremel cutoff wheel to 18.5 inches and now have a spare.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. However, it give us that never had a thought about something like that happening a way to fix it if it does.
