Side Tent clean-up

We just got back from the weekend. We set up a big camp..We set up one of my biggest tent, a 19x12 four season, a smaller 9x10 tent, the easy up canopy, our 550 and the side tent. We had 5 children and 6 grandchildren. What a blast!!!
But I digress. With all the tents to dry, I looked for a way to clean the side tent. I removed the hooks with buckles and put it in our washing machine. I added a small amount of detergent.
After the cycle was finished, I ran it through an extra spin. I hung it up on the porch to dry. It looks great. Has anyone else tried this? It seems to have worked well for us.

You are brave! I hosed mine off and hung it out to dry. I would have guessed that a machine wash would be hard on it, but I'll wait and see what the Camp-Inn folks have to say...
