I don't know if the current zippers would be able to be adapted, but having 2 way zippers on the windows would be great. It would let you open as much of the window, from the top, as you'd like - handy if it's raining a bit or if you'd like some air circulating and still have privacy. One thing it would also do is let you run the roof fan when it's raining and not suck the side walls of the tent in.
