Sisters On The Fly?

A question for the ladies on the forum...

I was recently told about Sisters On The Fly (www.sistersonthefly.com), and I am wondering if anyone is a member? Sounds like a pretty cool group and I like their sense or adventure. I was wondering if you could give me your take.

Thanks!

Sarah,

I don't believe any of our customers are members of the sisters. I have been keeping my eye out for a long time watching to see if any of our customers are. I too would love to know if we have any Camp-Inn owners who are members.

Someone told me about 'sisters' and I have been out on their website. I was curious if anyone with a teardrop belonged. There are a couple. If you scroll through the pictures of the trailers, there is a campinn 550 belonging to someone named Suzy Q.. It does look like fun but a bit steep to become a member, $60 I believe. I don't fish but it looks like they have a number of other activities.

Joan,

That is cool! I don't know who that is. I went through the customer list for 2010 to try and figure out who it might be. I think I might have it narrowed down to a short list of a few names but just am not sure which one. I can tell it is a 550 Classic looking at the picture. That narrows it down a bunch. One of those names that comes up is a forum member. That member is Pat. Pat, if you are reading this, is it you?

The fee is $60 a year to be a member. I saw that they were doing a holiday lunch in the area (in Clackamas), and then they have all of the excursions. A couple in ID looked cool and not outrageous in the number ofhours it would take to get there. I would just need to talk the hub into letting me leave the kid with him and take off! That would be the challenging part. I have always thought it would be cool to learn to fly fish, and they will teach you. There are other events as well, and I guess you can always just go along for the 'ride'.

I didn't see the holiday lunch in Clackamas. I can't go but will keep my eye for something like it in the future.

Two trips caught my eye, Yosemite in March (won't have a trailer by then) and the balloon festival in October. I have always wanted to go to that.

Guess I am not the only one checking out their website! I was going to see about meeting some of the "sisters" as the Colorado group had planned a weekend here in Steamboat but the weekend was canceled. Oh well....

Ah, yes, the CI rule. Joan, as Hilditch has obliquely pointed out, on this forum ci means cast iron and CI means Camp-Inn. :)

Personally I enjoy solving puzzles, rules have been set. Heck I like to stretch all rules. No way will I not stop at a stop sign though. Jean

Oh yes, watch out - big brother is watching. Violaters will have their typing fingers removed. :)
