Since Bob confessed his hitching incident, I feel obligated to post my little mishap. I hit a redwood. I took a wrong turn and ended up near the bathrooms. I was trying to maneuver around a very tight spot and hit my left fender on a tree. Fortunately I was not going very fast so I just put a small dent in the fender. I will post pictures tomorrow. Several people said that it would be easy to pound out. I may just leave it alone so that I can point to it and say 'that is where I hit the redwood.'

Or you could put a little plaque over it that says "At this spot, on (date), I was hit by a redwood & survived to tell the tale."

Camp-Inn...built redwood tough! ;)

Joan, I hit my fender while backing into a garage. Knocked the ding out (mostly) with a rubber mallet and a piece of 3/4" plywood. Still not perfect...adds to the character. I saw a young girl driving a beat up old corolla...she had these huge band aid stickers over all her rust and dents. genius! Can camp inn sell those on the website?

Betsey, tell Craig you need a raise. Great slogan! :)

Why thank you! On occasion, I do have rare moments of creative genius!

As for the raise however...I think I'll keep my day job. ;)

Yeah, gotta watch those redwoods. Turn your back on 'em and they'll bite you! Jim swears every night when he got up to use the facilities, the path had changed. Those damn redwoods had moved! (Personally, I think it was all that ale he drank during those cocktail hours. That'll confuse the heck out of anyone.)
