Switch Inside And Above Doors In Our New 560?

We love our new 560 but have a question about the switches above the doors. What are these used for? They were not in our old 550. Wondered if they were put in for furnace but since we don't have one, can't tell. They don't affect the lights.....Can't find any info in the manual. Thanks.....maybe they activate a bear repellant system?
 
Are you talking about the porch light switches? The 560 has an exterior light above the doors and a switch by the door to turn them on.
