Will be new to this location but looking for recommended campgrounds in the Bayfield/Ashland area. Not sure what will still be available to reserve this time of year. We plan to stay about a week starting July 7 or 8.
Well, Big Bay state Park on Madeline Island is a great spot. It does involve taking the ferry, but was worth it for us. A great spot for bikes and paddling.
