#484 is on it's way to it's new home in Minnesota. We are happy that our beloved potato (our neighbor thought it looked like a baked potato wrapped in aluminum foil) was passed on to someone that will use it often. We know Jean will love and care for it as much as we did.

We are thankful that we had the opportunity to travel in the luxury and style that we did and for the many friends we met along the way...let's keep in touch. Know that when you visit Southside Virginia you have a driveway to camp in.

Happy trails.....

What?!!! That news is out of left field!!!
We are very happy for Jean, but sad that AJ & Michelle have joined the ranks of "former owners". Glad to know that you, at least, got to see some of our great country in your travels. You will both be missed at our future gatherings....maybe you can stop in at North Bend Park for our next MAUCICCO gathering!
Best wishes to you both!

This IS a surprise! It was nice to meet you both, and hope you continue to share here on the forum. :)

Yes, the "beloved potato" has arrived safely to the garage in Minnesota.

AJ and Michelle presented an offer that worked well for all of us. I have a wonderful upgraded teardrop that has AC. They have lovenly trusted me to be the new owner/keeper.

Best of all, teardrop stayed dry inside during extensive rain traveling backroads of Kentucky and Indiana, fast moving weather fronts bringing heavy rain and hail, then much colder temps.

Traveling west while the tornado producing weather front travleing east. Crossed it's path between Columbus and Bloomington, Indiana (South Central Indiana). While I never saw any of the tornado's, Noticed the destruction from Terra Haute upto Danville, Ill and west to north of Bloomington/Normal Ill.

Next step is warm November day to wash the road grime off, give Uff Da Inn (2) a coat of wax, and a winter's nap.

Thanks AJ and Michelle for allowing me to become the owner a well cared for teardrop.

Am I reading this right?
Jean, you are the very first owner of 2 "broken in" Camp Inn Teardrops?
Evan needs to get you a MAJOR AWARD!
Now head south to warmer weather.

Oh my! :o :o :o

No, No, No! NEVER, EVER use the term "broken" in the same sentence as "Camp-Inn!"

The more fitting phrase is "gently used." ;) ;) ;) ;)

Carry on!

Jean,
Glad it all worked out so well for you to sell one and find another so fast.
No you better plan a trip south some time this winter. We tried to find 70 degrees last March and had to go all the way to Louisiana do so.
Maybe this winter we won't have to go so far before we find it.
I'm ready for spring already.

Jenn,
We didn't go down to far. But stayed at Lake D'Arbonne St. Pk. Just over the Arkansas border.
Very nice park and WiFi throughout if you need it. We were told all Louisiana's parks are online.
We are going to Texas in a few months and then to Florida so we will check out a lot more of southern La. then. I think there is a lot to see and do there not to mention I bet some great food.
