Water Damage Repair Question

I am considering purchase of #257 which currently lives near San Francisco, CA. John mentioned there is some water stains forming under the galley cover near the seam -- any guess if this is something that can be repaired and prevented from spreading? photo attached...Water damage upper right corner of galley.

Are you still suffering from this problem? I think you should hire an HVAC professional to solve this problem. HVAC technicians have a brief knowledge of all the appliances which is used in the system. You can pop over here if you are looking for the HVAC contractor in order to solve this problem.

Charley & Matthew,

Thank you for responding to Charley, Matthew. However, this particular issue has nothing to do with HVAC. Anyone who may come across this water damage issue, contact Cary directly (call or email) and he will help you determine the cause and what needs to be done.

I agree with Betsey this is not HVAC. When I purchaeed my used Camp Inn Cary was very helpful with diagnosing the issue with pictures and email. I have not had a leak since. My leaks were in similar area and it was the hinge area that was the cause.

Thanks

+1 - wouldn't think HVAC either --- HVAC water is always going to find the lowest spot....if you poured gallons of water into the AC vent...it would drain through the drain pain out the camper through the drain line. If you over-ran the drain line...if the line is plugged, I would expect it to pour through the front of the AC into the living area.

Where are you storing the camper? It could be humidity and heat combined with not having the open and thus not able to breathe perhaps?

And yes, a Call to Cary is the best approach here....
