Water Issue

Ahoy Mates!

Novice
I'm sure nobody else has done this...right??
After retiring to the cabin and reading myself to sleep, I was appreciating the fine finish the Camp-Inn crew sprayed on the interior walls with my bare foot. The outside temp that day was 89 Deg F but as the sun was down temp was falling but the wall felt cooler than I expected. I finally realized I was feeling cold water dripping slowly down the curb side wall just behind the wall with the outlets. Hummm? what would cause this? The air conditioner wasn't running (I'll explain that in another post in "adventures"), I hadn't spilled a cold beverage...?? The bedding was a little damp so it had been going on a while. I opened up the galley and found a mini flood on the curb side (I guess JoyAhoy wasn't really "Level"). As I soaked up the mess of cold water I realized I had drained the cooler and put it away without closing the drain. DANG!! Lesson learned.

When I "forgot" to close the cooler drain, the trailer was tilted just a tad towards my wife's direction. she woke up with wet feet mine were nice and dry. Life just isn't fair sometimes. Needless to say it won't happen again dear.

Well Dave one thing about it - you can feel like you're camping in a tent while it's raining and then appreciate that you're actually NOT!

We just got home from a 3-week trip after picking up our trailer in Necedah and we did exactly the same thing. The Coleman cooler is great because it "fits" (obviously) but it eats ice. Fortunately we had the front a bit higher than the back and the water went into the right hand bin (facing forward).
