Dave,

Once upon a time Cary said they wipe them down with kerosene after peeling off the white plastic. He can advise. After that, you can do your homework here by reading the Care & Maintenance section.

Hilditch,

Thanks I will Call Cary.

I have read that section and it seems to be which one person has tried and liked or not by using different methods. Not a real clear answer to my question.

I would prefer to use one way (The best way)and stick with it. I dont like to experiment on bare aluminum. ( TOO MUCH CAN GO WRONG )

Hi,

Talked with Cary about Walbernize. The kerosene comment arouse. Kerosene will remove all protectiv coating from the skin. Not good. He also had a lot of additional information.

Call Cary, he likes to talk.

Lacquer thinner, not Kerosene. Has to be straight virgin lacquer thinner, any mineral spirit mix will leave streaks. We do this when the metal is virgin. Once the trailer has been out doors and exposed to the environment it will have no useful effect. So, not something that is helpful for the customers since it only helps us in final clean up. Sorry.

Cary
