As soon as Tim saw the stove, he knew he wanted to make wooden handles for the gas valves - they slide over the little metal handle. He's made a few different styles but my favorite is the tear-drop shaped handles. They work great, I just have to make sure I turn the gas off toward the flat side so I know the valve is completely shut.
