Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP

I ventured into both parks this spring. 4 nights in Yellowstone followed by 14 nights in Grand Teton. Approximately 3700 mile RT when it was all done. It was supposed to rain most of the days in Yellowstone but it ended up being light hail and snow which was actually pretty cool.

I was camped in the Fishing Bridge RV Park while in Yellowstone. The 560 held up just fine in the weather. My $29 electric heater worked like a charm with shore power. Also didn't have to worry about getting solar to the roof. It's nice to get some value out of paying for an RV site. :-)

These two were courting for a few days. The male (with the red earbuds) is grizzle #288 and the female is "Jam".

"Honey, I'm home!" - Blue Heron greeting spouse upon landing.

Grizzly "Snow" (sister of "Jam") with her two cubs whom she later kicked out to start their own life.

Moving on to Grand Teton - This pine martin spent an hour just hanging out in this tree next to the general store at Colter Bay. He was apparently getting a little bored.

This photo has a sad story to go with it. Grizzle 1063 was a first time mom last spring with 3 new cubs. This year they all emerged healthy for the season, but shortly thereafter two of the cubs were killed by a boar (thought to be resident bully Bruno). Her remaining cub was named "Miracle" (for surviving) and is seen in these photos. However, a few days later mom and cub were seen split up and have not been seen together since, though they each have been seen separately. Unfortunately, the little one will not survive on its own.

Thanks @JohnC was looking forward to this...
Your photography is spectacular!
Cool camping in the snow!
Nice to know the CI can handle shoulder seasons with ease.
