Update #600 Has Arrived!

The day is finally here! We met Cary at the factory at 9:30 am to begin our tour and orientation. The nest was full of new fledglings being built and ours was waiting in the wing! Funny side story, Cary mentioned in a previous email exchange they had a small surprise for us when we got here. We kinda forgot all about it simply because picking up our new CI was exciting and surprising enough!

Then Cary says, “Well you see that ladder over there? We've been taking group shots with your teardrop this morning because you're number 600.”

What? We were super surprised—and shocked—because we totally thought our invoice number was our trailer number. I'd even added 592 right to our user profile and everything! So we laughed about that and whomever #592 is, sorry!

Our fellow South Carolina Camp Inners, #420, had previously shared it won't sink in until you lay eyes on it in person the first time. Absolutely true! Three quarters through our orientation I said I still felt like I was watching all this being explained on someone else's trailer. It just wasn't going to really sink in until we pulled out.

And as very happy new teardroppers, we pulled out early this afternoon and hit the road! Absolutely thrilled with everything we opted for and for taking the time to drive to Wisconsin.

Thank you everyone for your input, shared stories and appreciation. And thank you to Cary, Craig, Marty and families for all y'all do to provide such an awesome experience and product for our families:)

Congratulations!!! Great story to start off your adventures! Safe travels and happy camping on your way back home!
South Carolina is a comfortable driving distance from the VA/NC border, where our MAUCICCO gathering is being held next month. We would love to meet you both, and the brand new, shiny #600! Come and join us!

We'll be at Fort Clinch State Park just north of Amelia Island over Labor Day...Sept 2-5. Love to see you there!!!

Congratulations! It is soooo pretty. Will we be able to congratulate you in person at the CI-CO in September?

Whoa... way kewl.... If ever making it over to the PNW, there are a lot of people I'm sure that can join up or advise where to Go.

Kathy & Bob are an excellent source....

...and so the two dogs are looking at each other wondering...
"...hey?, do you see where we're supposed to sleep 'OR' is that our new Home... and where will "They" sleep.. hehheh.. fun...

CONGRATS!! Now we're not the only one in SC. Got a good chuckle for your trailer nickname, HAHA. Have fun and safe travels.

Well, congratulations! How cool that you're now in possession of your brand new teardrop! You're probably already camped somewhere in southern Wisconsin. You can stop by our house in Chicago on your way home for some tips on Illinois and Indiana state parks to visit. AND you might take some pictures of our tow vehicle so it's easier to make the sticker...
Have a great, safe trip!

Thanks! We looked hard at it coming when it was first announced. We had something tentatively planned that weekend but I'll definitely keep you posted if we're able to make this instead:)

Thanks so much for the offer! We actually drove on through to Kankakee River State Park. A set of my third great-grandparents moved here from NY state to live & farm through the Civil War years before coming to SC. I've done a bunch of research and we're off to find their original farm land this morning and take pics back to my grandma:) feel free to email me a good even profile pic of your TV though! sarahnell.blackwell@gmail.com

OH, the two dogs are so lucky to have a fantastic portable dog kennel!
Right? That's exactly the talk I had with them too during their “orientation” last night. It's just one big kennel that we're sharing...same goal is just to sleep:) as soon as they smelled our pillows in there they snuggled in just as expected. Little Samson u der the cubbies at my feet ( he loves small spaces) and Moultrie stretched long ways either between us or against my door.

And we all slept so well!

Congrats! You will have to let us know how things go with your two pups. We have three dogs, two of them over fifty pounds, so we are wondering just how cozy it gets!
