Just Wanted to Say Hi!

OK, brand new here and I'll admit right up front that I'm a total CampInn fanboy even though we don't have one...YET!

I'm Dan and my wife is Vanessa. We can't wait until the day comes when we can call and order our own 560 Ultra! We had plans to retire to some land we purchased 5 years ago in the Texas Hill Country, but now we have that on the market. The minute we sell that, I'll be making the call to place our order. So, we're crossing fingers (toes, and legs, and arms, essentially anything that we can cross without risking serious injury) for our land to sell quickly.

So, I guess until we're full fledged owners we'll just sit back, read everything on the forums, and live vicariously through all of you...waiting...and we'll try to be patient.

BTW, y'all have some terrific info here (we're from Texas, mind you, where y'all is acceptable)! I'm enjoying every post!

Welcome to the forum Dan & Vanessa! Good luck with your sale. I'm sure you'll find plenty of info and conversation here to keep you busy until your CampInn down payment's made.

Y'all Welcom'....
Heheh, I'm in Seattle and use it, Y'all, all the time. Just never know how to punctuate it correctly.

Good luck on the land sale, you can pick up some great ideas on what to order and what to "Stock'er Up with".. which is the fun part while waiting for pick-up/Delivery...
It's all fun...

Y'all come back, ya hear... heheh, fun...

How come you all don't keep your property...open a campground...and we'll all come there for a CAMP-INN CAMP-OUT???
Welcome aboard, fanboy.

I like that idea.
We will even bring our 560
Welcome

Hmmm...that's a thought. But wait...then we'd have no place to sleep! Thanks, Sue and Alan, for the welcome!

Well, here's a short lesson in Texan: The term "y'all" is singular for one group. The plural form of y'all is "all y'all". At least that's how it's taught in school!

It can be very confusing for people from the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania area where "y'unns" is singular and plural.

Thanks for the welcome fpoole! We're digging around for stuff to stock up on as we speak!

OK... "all y'all" are GOOD LUCK! I no sooner responded to the last welcome post and within 5 minutes I got a call from our realtor...AN OFFER!!! The buyers are pre-approved and we accepted! Now, just have to wait until the proposed close date of 10 May! Woo hoo! Or yeee haw...I'm not exactly sure what to yell!

WELCOME to the wonderful world of Camp-Inn.....and CONGRATULATIONS on your pending property sale!!!!! Looks like y'all have had a mighty fine day!!!!! :)

Hi Terry_Julie and thanks for the welcome. Why, yes, it has been fantastic! We're just praying the sale all goes through well. I'm still blown away that 5 minutes after our first replies here on the board we got an offer!

It is just a sign that it is meant to be! Better start on that list of must haves, and get yourselves to one of the owner's places to check them out in person (if you haven't done it yet). It is a great way to see exactly what the trailers are all about, and what you can envision for yourselves. Cary can hook you up with folks who are local to you, or if you give a city you are in here, someone will likely volunteer. You really can't go wrong with any of the models. I fall more in love every time I look at her!

People on the forum are not only lucky, but some of the friendliest I have ever seen on a forum. Someone will have an answer to any question you have. It is a really super resource.

Welcome aboard!

Mick'nSarah-

You're so right, it is a sign! We've been going through our notes from tent camping ond noting all our "must haves" for the new Raindrop. That is an exercise in restrain and patience, for sure!

Thanks so much and as "newbies" we already feel welcome to the forum...that's awesome!

Dan_and_Vanessa Welcome you are in the right place. Glad to hear you have a potential buyer so fast for your property.Y'All"going to love the Camp Inn experience. :)

Hi Jenn!

Thanks so much for the welcome! I'm sure we'll be asking lots of questions, too. We've really been impressed with all the info here so far. Tons of people that document their upgrades, lots of pics, differing opinions, and all very friendly.

Yeah...CICO would be great! Our wheels are turning now...

Thanks again, Jenn, and see you around the forums!

Welcome and good for you on the quick offer. We're still lurking while we save up for one. Hoping to get that done within the year.

This is a great site and I have read every post twice I swear

D & V,

Way cool for you guys. We just brought home our brand new 560 yesterday. It was quite a pilgrimage from Wisconsin.

We'll definitely be in the hill country with "Rollin' Rosie" over the next few weeks. Hope to see you sometime.

Tim and Cyndi

Tim- I was great talking with you on the phone and we look forward to meeting you in person this weekend...and "Rollin' Rosie" too!

Thanks, Lorne & Tracy! Like the song says, "The waiting is the hardest part!"

Oh, and you're right...great site!!!

Mr Ed is waiting to get out of the barn and into a trailer as well !!

We have been tenters for 30 years now and can't wait to get the #$$ off the ground. Be sure to post up and share any great sites that you have run into.

Good luck with your sale.

Carl
