Yes, by ferry. Maine > New Brunswick > Nova Scotia > 6 hour ferry > Newfoundland. Even though the province is 'Newfoundland & Labrador ', one is the island and the other the mainland.
You could get to Labrador via ferry and avoid Quebec, but most likely would drive through Quebec on the way in or out...
