Simmer rings/flame tamers

Somewhere on this forum, I read about simmer rings for the powerful CI stove. I'd like to learn more about these (brand, effectiveness, etc). Any opinions out there?

We are "gearing up" for the delivery of our new 550 on May 18th!

We are picking up our CI on May 19th. Is your 550 being delivered to your home, or are you picking it up?

We are picking ours up on the 18th. Yours must be the 560 that has been near ours in the build pictures. We are looking forward to our May vacation and you must be, too!
