Tire Chains

We have the SUV package for our 550 Special that we are picking up on April 1. Has anyone purchased and used tire chains on their teardrop? We'd welcome your comments and recommendations.

I don't think you would see any benefit from chains for your trailer. Chains are normally used on the drive wheels of your tow vehicle for traction.

Chains are typically used only on drive wheels on the TV. Agree with comments above.

Both CA and OR require chains on a trailer that has brakes.

I don't have chains for the trailer but I don't plan on towing when they are required.

I'm from MA and we have lots of stupid laws too - I think it runs rampant through the US!! Now we have established our domicile in TX and we have no idea what to expect!!
